Use of new software packaging tool

Building software packages that are easy to distribute and easy to install is a non trivial task on its own and requires some good and reliable software-tool.

I was aware that the product that I used so far was outdated long time ago and that I had to migrate my setup-projects to some more current setup-platform.

For economical reasons I looked for a free product and found Inno-Setup which turned out to be very powerfull and flexible.

Compared to the setups that the previous tool produced, the setups with Inno-Setup are significantly smaller (approx. 40% of size) and performing faster.

So if any of you are looking for a good and free setup-tool I strongly recommend Inno-Setup.
