Happy 2007 to everyone

A new year has come and I like to thank those of you who visited this web site constantly, even if had not the chance for regular updates like in the last year (I promise some improvements on that). And of course I like to wish everyone of you the very best for the upcoming year, especially good health and familial and emotional stability.

Some figures on FXbench

Well I'm publishing software and plugins on this web site for a couple of years (since 2003) and I was always enthusiastic on high download figures but the development of FXbench downloads over the last couple of months is simply breathtaking. While the average number of downloads for FXbench was about 1,500 for each month for a long time, it has extremly raised since October 2006:

09/2006: 1,506 downloads
10/2006: 3,210 downloads
11/2006: 2,039 downloads
12/2006: 7,692 downloads

But even more, download figures for FXbench seemded to explode in January 2007. In the first six days of January 2007 8,027 downloads of FXbench have been done. From September 2006 untill 6th of January 2007 that makes a total of 22,474 downloads. If it remains on that level there will be more than another thousand downloads for every new upcoming day.

I really don't know what the reason for that might be. If anyone of you can provide an explanation on that, please send me a mail.
